Flipfuel Fuel Transfer Device

Flipfuel's Fuel Transfer Device is a mini valve that transfers gas from one cartridge to another. With 2 half-empty gas cartridges, you can now get a full cartridge. Don't go hiking with gas cartridge bottoms!

This gas transfer adapter is relatively simple to use.

1. Place the gas cartridge to be filled in the freezer, so that the gas liquefies.


2. Place the gas cartridge to be emptied in the sun, so that the gas is fully gaseous.


3. Wait 5 minutes


4. Screw the gas cartridge to be filled (the cold liquid one) IN side down


5. Screw on the gas cartridge to be emptied (the hot gaseous one) on the OUT side, at the top


6. Open the tap on the Fuel Transfer Device

Once the transfer is complete, close the tap and unscrew the gas cartridges. Remember to recycle the empty cartridge correctly.

The Fuel Transfer Device adapter is compatible only with EN417 threaded-valve cartridges such as Primus, Jetboil, Msr, Optimus, Gsi, Snowpeak... It does not work with Campingaz snap-in cartridges.
