Msr Switch System Stove

The Switch Stove System from MSR is a set containing a gas stove and an optimised 1-litre popote. This system will enable you to heat water very quickly while minimising fuel use, as well as cooking small dishes.

The Switch stove weighs just 117 grams and develops 2100 watts of power. It boils 500 ml of water in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Equipped with an internal pressure regulator, its performance is always on target, even in cold weather, at high altitudes and when gas levels are low. For ease of use, a piezo is built in and the flame can be finely adjusted using the thumbwheel.

The 1-litre Switch pan is made from hard-anodised aluminium. Its rounded base ensures that the temperature rises quickly and evenly. It is graduated on the inside and has 2 insulated handles.

For added versatility, the stove can be used with other types of container. A larger saucepan or frying pan can be used on top, thanks to the 3 supports that can be opened to increase the surface area. The recommended maximum diameter is 20.3 centimetres.

The Switch Stove System also includes the following accessories, all of which fit together:

• a removable cork protection for a good grip without burning yourself,


• a lid with spout, handy for draining pasta,


• a graduated plastic bowl that fits into the base of the pan and protects it during transport,


• a cartridge holder for greater stability,


• a PackTowl cloth to keep everything clean,


• enough space to store a 110g gas cartridge.
