The Evernew Pre-Heating Plate is a preheating plate for the Bluenote Stove. When it is very cold, the heating power of an alcohol stove decreases. To remedy this and save fuel, the use of a preheating cup is recommended to bring the alcohol up to temperature.
Simply soak a cotton ball in alcohol, ignite it and place the alcohol stove on top of it, then light it in turn. This practice is recommended for winter bivouacs for a quicker start and a better heating performance.
