Sawyer One Gallon Gravity System

The One Gallon Gravity System from Sawyer is a gravity water filtration system perfectly suited to groups. This kit contains :

• a Sawyer mini filter: fitted with 0.1 micron hollow rods, it eliminates 99.99999% of bacteria (salmonella, cholera, E.coli...), 99.9999% of all protozoa (Giardia, Cryptosporidium) and 100% of microplastics. Filter element lifetime: 378,000 liters.


• a 3.78-liter water bag with a large opening at the top for easy filling and a small one (28 mm thread) at the bottom where the hose is connected. A handle facilitates transport and allows the water bag to be hung high.


• connection between water cow and tube


• a cleaning syringe: to feed clean water under pressure into the filter so that it retains its qualities and flow rate.


• a hose with gravity guide and cleaning connector: to be fixed under the water bag.

This system is ideal for base camp or group use. Gravity filtration can be carried out with the water bag suspended or laid flat on a high surface (tree stump, table, etc.). The 1-gallon (3.78 l) water bag is filtered in 7 minutes.

The Sawyer Mini can also be used independently, attached to a bottle (thanks to its 28 mm double thread) or as a straw, for example.
