Sawyer's Squeeze is a filter equipped with a removable dummy cap to drink directly from the filter outlet. It can be used with a bottle, a flask, a water bag or with the hose as a straw to drink from a river. Compact, it weighs 75 grams (filter only) and has a flow rate of 1.7 liters/minute.

Its 0.1 micron filter eliminates 99.99999% of bacteria, such as salmonella, cholera and E. coli, and 99.9999% of protozoa such as giardia and cryptospridium. It is capable of filtering up to 378,500 litres of water thanks to its simple and efficient cleaning system. It can be reused almost indefinitely without the need for a replacement cartridge, and is perfectly suited for long trips. Supplied with a syringe, it is used to inject water counter-currently into the filter to clean it.

The Squeeze water filter is supplied with:

  • Two 1-litre water pockets with a cap

  • A 30 cm flexible tube

  • A cleaning syringe

  • Two connecting rings

  • An additional seal

  • A storage cover
