The Hobo Stove bk1 from Petromax is a sturdy wood stove made of stainless steel. It differs from other wood stoves by its slightly longer shape. This means that it is possible to put in longer twigs and that you don't have to feed it as often. It is supplied with 2 support rods that can be placed on top of the stove so that it can be used even for small pots or even a simple quarter.
The bottom grill can be positioned at two different heights. At the bottom, for use in wood-burning mode, and at the top for use with an alcohol burner or alcohol tablets. The rod with a hole protruding from each side of the stove allows it to be stabilised on the ground with sardines for concrete anchoring.
The storage bag supplied is robust and made of 600 denier ripstop fabric. It has several compartments for each element, as well as pockets for tinder, firesteel...
