Sawyer's S1 Foam Filter is a water filter that combines a foam membrane in a silicone gourd with a micro Squeeze filter. This combination gives you water that's instantly free of bacteria, protozoa, pesticides and chemicals. It also improves the taste and smell of your water.
The Micro Squeeze hollow-fiber filter can be used independently of the water bottle.
Foam and 0.1 micron filtration remove 99.99999% of bacteria such as salmonella, cholera and E. coli, and 99.9999% of protozoa such as giardia and cryptospridium.
